Is Already Decided

Just as it says in the Book of Chanages, “Gentlemen see an opportunity and act, without waiting for the end of the day.” In this way, whether the road is clear and time is right is obvious to wise men with a single glance. The course of action is already decided from the very beginning. Isn’t it such a clear decision!

9日速久処仕已に始めに決す
易に云ふ如く、「君子は幾を見て作(た)ち、日を終ることを待たず」の理にて、道の否泰、時の可否は聖人一目瞭然にして、速久(そくきゅう)処仕(士)已(すで)に初めに決す、亦(また)明決ならずや。
